Now based in Trongate 103 – Glasgow’s new centre for the arts and creativity – GMAC provides affordable access to high quality equipment, facilities and training for all people interested in moving image and film-making.  GMAC is a charity and social economy organisation, and the company aims to bridge the gap between community and industry productions offering a ladder of opportunities on an accessible level for all.

Red Road Flats Projects

Glasgow Media Access Centre and The Red Road Community Engagement Sub Group will work in a creative and engaging way with a group of residents from the Red Road Flats to enable them to tell their stories and history of living in this community.  The group will become a Media Team to engage other residents, both old and new, interviewing them on their attitudes and opinions of their community and their environment, providing an insight into how it has changed and how they foresee it will change over the next seven years of regeneration.
